About the Role
Trendline Aviation is seeking an experienced Aircraft Reliability Analyst with a minimum of 3 years of hands-on Aircraft Reliability / CASS experience.
This is a technical analytical position focused on analyzing aircraft maintenance and operational data, calculating reliability metrics, identifying adverse trends and recurring failures, performing technical/root-cause investigations, and monitoring corrective-action effectiveness.

We are specifically looking for candidates with hands-on Aircraft Reliability / CASS analysis experience.

Aircraft/engine document review
Logbook review
Work-card or task-card review
Records completeness checks
Document compliance
Data entry
Technical Records
will not be considered Aircraft Reliability Analysis experience for this position.
Candidates should have personally performed reliability analysis, trend monitoring, investigations, and corrective-action activities.
Key Responsibilities
Analyze aircraft maintenance and operational data to identify adverse trends, recurring defects, chronic issues, and emerging reliability concerns.
Perform reliability analysis at fleet, aircraft, ATA chapter, system, and component levels.
Calculate and interpret reliability metrics including MTBUR, MTBR, MTBF, MTTF, MTBUF, component removal rates, write-up rates, delay rates, cancellation rates, and other reliability indicators.
Monitor reliability alert levels, control limits, and statistical performance thresholds.
Investigate items exceeding established reliability limits.
Analyze repetitive/recurrent aircraft discrepancies, component removals, system failures, PIREPs, maintenance write-ups, delays, and cancellations.
Perform technical investigation and root-cause analysis of aircraft, system, and component reliability problems.
Identify patterns and correlations within maintenance and operational data.
Prepare reliability reports, statistical summaries, charts, trends, and technical presentations.
Recommend and track corrective actions resulting from reliability findings.
Monitor and evaluate corrective-action effectiveness.
Communicate technical reliability findings to engineering, maintenance, quality, and management teams.
Minimum Qualifications
Minimum 3 years of hands-on Aircraft Reliability / CASS experience.
Experience calculating and interpreting aircraft reliability statistics.
Experience identifying adverse trends and recurring aircraft, system, or component issues.
Experience performing technical/root-cause investigations.
Experience monitoring reliability alerts, thresholds, or control limits.
Understanding of aircraft maintenance and ATA systems.
Strong Microsoft Excel skills, including PivotTables, formulas, charts, lookups, filtering, and analysis of large datasets.
Ability to independently analyze maintenance and operational data and communicate technical findings.
