We have an opportunity for a Legal Secretary to join us in our Insurance team in Perth working with Rani Aria Retnam and Sue Wilkinson.
About the team and the work
You will support a dynamic team of lawyers who work across both Western Australian and Commonwealth jurisdictions with self-insurers on statutory issues, managing claims and common law matters, as well as supporting major litigation proceedings.
You will work collaboratively in a team environment with additional administrative team members, using robust processes and excellent software systems.
Your duties will include client billing and reporting, file management, assisting with client updates on legal developments, coordinating meetings and diaries, and other varied administrative tasks.
This is a permanent, full-time, 12 month fixed term contract. You will be required to work
8.30am – 5pm, Monday to Friday with some flexibility.

About you
You will have a minimum of 2 years’ experience as a legal assistant or secretary, ideally with some exposure to supporting a litigated practice.
To be successful in this role you must be organised, diligent and have good communication skills and able to multi-task under pressure.
