Role Description The Community Health Educator is a full-time, on-site role based in Lucknow. This role involves planning and delivering health education sessions for community members, patients, and local groups on topics such as disease prevention, medication use, and healthy lifestyles. The Community Health Educator will develop educational materials, organize workshops and outreach activities, and coordinate with clinics, pharmacies, and community organizations to promote health awareness. Daily tasks include assessing community health needs, preparing simple, clear educational content in appropriate languages, and maintaining records of programs and participant feedback. The role also requires collaborating with internal teams and external partners to support broader health promotion initiatives and public health campaigns.
Qualifications
Candidates should possess strong skills in Health Education and Public Health Education.
Candidates should possess skills related to Community Health and Health Promotion.
Candidates should possess effective Communication skills, including the ability to explain complex health topics in clear, accessible language.
Relevant qualifications such as a degree or diploma in Public Health, Health Education, Nursing, Pharmacy, Social Work, or a related field.
Experience in community outreach, health programs, or NGO/clinic-based health initiatives is beneficial.
Ability to work on-site in Lucknow, travel locally for community events, and build trust with diverse populations.
Strong organizational skills, basic computer literacy, and the ability to maintain accurate reports and records.
Knowledge of local health challenges and familiarity with regional languages is an advantage.
