Base Salary $117,133 + 17% superannuation
About the opportunity
The Marketing and Communications Senior Officer is responsible for developing and implementing marketing and communications campaigns and projects in support of student recruitment, research impact, alumni and development, and external outreach objectives. The candidate will utilise data-driven insights to enhance marketing approaches, leading efforts to implement improvements and ensure alignment with the broader University vision. This role will work primarily with the Faculty of Science to advance the University’s reputation in this field, though many of the projects will cut across a variety of study and research areas.
This fast-paced role is responsible for campaign management and execution, direct and online marketing, the management of externally targeted web content, and various University profile-raising activities. Strong stakeholder management skills are critical as the role engages with key academic and professional stakeholders to develop and implement integrated, multi-channel campaigns in domestic and international markets. The position also involves collaborating on various brand and research-related marketing and communication projects.
About you
significant experience in developing and executing integrated brand and marketing communications campaigns across a broad range of media channels and mediums
demonstrated experience writing and editing copy written by others to ensure content is of a standard that meets editorial requirements and strategic objectives
strong project management skills with the capacity to manage competing priorities, maintain attention to detail, and to meet deadlines
demonstrated experience using social and digital media to reach and engage target audiences
proven ability to build positive and collaborative relationships with key stakeholders, including strong negotiation and problem-solving skills
understanding of the Australian higher education environment and emerging marketing communications trends
experience with Adobe Experience Manager, Asana, Sprinklr, web analytics and reporting (preferably Adobe Analytics) will be highly regarded.
