PHP Developer

We are seeking a PHP Developer to design, develop, and maintain high-performance web applications and backend systems. This role involves building scalable solutions, developing APIs, optimizing application performance, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver secure and reliable software products.
The ideal candidate has strong expertise in PHP development, modern frameworks, database design, and software engineering best practices, with a passion for building robust and scalable applications.
Key Responsibilities
Design, develop, test, and maintain web applications using PHP and related technologies.
Build scalable backend services, APIs, and application components.
Develop and integrate RESTful APIs and third-party services.
Write clean, maintainable, and reusable code following coding standards and best practices.
Optimize application performance, scalability, and reliability.
Design and manage database schemas, queries, and data structures.
Troubleshoot, debug, and resolve application issues efficiently.
Collaborate with Product Managers, UI/UX Designers, QA Engineers, and Developers throughout the development lifecycle.
Participate in code reviews and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.
Implement security best practices and ensure application compliance standards.
Maintain technical documentation and system specifications.
Support deployment, monitoring, and maintenance of applications in production environments.
Required Skills & Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field.
3+ years of experience in PHP application development.
Strong proficiency in PHP and object-oriented programming concepts.
Experience with modern PHP frameworks such as Laravel, Symfony, or CodeIgniter.
Strong understanding of RESTful APIs and web services.
Hands-on experience with MySQL, PostgreSQL, or other relational databases.
Knowledge of HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and modern web development principles.
Experience with Git and version control systems.
Strong debugging, problem-solving, and analytical skills.
Understanding of software development lifecycle and Agile methodologies.
Preferred Qualifications
Experience with Laravel ecosystem, Livewire, or similar modern frameworks.
Familiarity with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.
Knowledge of Docker, Kubernetes, and containerized deployments.
Experience with Redis, Elasticsearch, RabbitMQ, or similar technologies.
Exposure to microservices architecture and event-driven systems.
Experience working in SaaS, E-commerce, FinTech, Healthcare, or Enterprise application environments.
