Security (Supervisor)

Key Responsibilities

Staff Management: Assign work shifts, create schedules, manage team rotations, and
monitor the daily performance of security officers.

Operations & Patrols: Oversee access control, visitor management, and
routine property patrols.
·
Incident Response: Lead responses to security breaches, emergencies, or alarms, and
coordinate with local law enforcement when needed.
·
Monitoring & Maintenance: Inspect security technology such as CCTV cameras,
alarm systems, and first-aid gear.
·
Training & Compliance: Conduct safety and protocol training for new and
existing staff, run emergency drills, and perform regular security audits.
·
Reporting: Maintain
accurate daily incident logs, logs of visitors, and compliance reports for
management
Qualifications & Requirements
·
Education: High school diploma or equivalent; a college degree
in criminal justice or a related field is often preferred.
·
Experience: Minimum of 2 to 3 years of working experience in
security, law enforcement, or the military, including prior experience as a
security guard.
·
Licensing: Valid state or regional security guard
license/permit and clean background check.
·
Certifications: First Aid/CPR certification and professional
credentials like Certified Protection Professional (CPP) or equivalent are a
plus.

verbal and written skills for reporting incidents and talking with authorities.
