Product Manager - Foundation Engineering

About the Opportunity:
The PRODUCT MANAGER - FOUNDATION ENGINEERING is responsible for leading the roadmap development for Observability and Compute/Network teams within the Foundation Engineering group. This role focuses on defining and prioritizing infrastructure initiatives that enhance system health visibility, compute and networking capabilities, security posture, and cost management. The position drives collaboration across engineering and product leadership to ensure a reliable, secure, and efficient infrastructure platform that meets the needs of developers and supports organizational goals.
Responsibilities:
Develop and maintain the product roadmap for observability and compute/network infrastructure.
Collaborate with engineering leads to balance reliability, security, capacity, and cost considerations.
Define and monitor key performance outcomes related to reliability, performance, developer experience, and cost.
Promote self-service infrastructure models to streamline access and compliance.
Integrate security requirements into infrastructure roadmap priorities.
Gather and incorporate feedback from engineering teams to address visibility and infrastructure gaps.
Communicate roadmap plans, tradeoffs, and progress to stakeholders.
Stay informed about industry trends to guide build-versus-buy decisions.
Requirements:
Prior product management experience with infrastructure-facing products.
Ability to translate complex reliability and capacity challenges into prioritized work.
Technical knowledge in observability or compute/network domains.
Experience managing infrastructure or platform product development with multiple stakeholders.
Strong communication and collaboration skills.
Ability to prioritize based on reliability, security, and cost metrics.
Familiarity with observability platforms and compute/network tooling.
Understanding of SRE practices.
Experience in regulated industry engineering environments.
Experience fostering infrastructure adoption across distributed teams.
Ability to work with globally distributed engineering teams.
Pay Range and Compensation Package:
The pay range and compensation package for this role will be determined based on the candidate's experience, skills, and other relevant factors.
