Job Description
Job Summary
The WB Relationship Manager at United Overseas Bank Ltd. is responsible for managing and growing a portfolio of corporate clients, providing comprehensive financial solutions, and building strong, long-term relationships to drive business growth and profitability.
Responsibilities
* Develop and maintain strong relationships with a portfolio of corporate clients, understanding their business needs and financial objectives.
* Proactively identify and pursue new business opportunities within the assigned portfolio and through new client acquisition.
* Cross-sell a full range of UOB products and services, including corporate lending, trade finance, cash management, treasury solutions, and investment products.
* Conduct thorough financial analysis and risk assessments to structure appropriate credit facilities and ensure sound lending practices.
* Prepare and present credit proposals, ensuring compliance with internal policies and regulatory requirements.
* Monitor client performance and market trends to anticipate changes and adapt strategies accordingly.
* Collaborate with product specialists and internal stakeholders to deliver integrated financial solutions.
* Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction and proactively address client inquiries and concerns.
* Adhere to all bank policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements, including anti-money laundering (AML) and know-your-customer (KYC) guidelines.
* Achieve individual and team sales targets and contribute to the overall profitability of the Wholesale Banking division.
Qualifications
* Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Finance, Economics, or a related field. MBA or CFA designation is a plus.
* Minimum of 5 years of experience in corporate banking relationship management, with a proven track record of managing and growing a portfolio of corporate clients.
* Strong understanding of corporate financial products and services, including lending, trade finance, cash management, and treasury.
* Excellent credit analysis and financial modeling skills.
* Demonstrated ability to build and maintain strong client relationships at various levels.
* Strong communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
* Results-oriented with a strong business acumen and ability to work independently and as part of a team.
* In-depth knowledge of regulatory requirements and banking practices.
* Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
