Role Description
1.The Franchise Development Manager is a full-time, on-site role based in Thane.
2.This role is responsible for identifying and qualifying prospective franchise partners, managing end-to-end franchise sales cycles, and executing business development strategies to expand the Skyy Skill Academy footprint.
3.Day-to-day activities include conducting market research, generating and nurturing leads, presenting the franchise value proposition, and supporting potential partners through evaluation, negotiation, and onboarding.
4. The manager will collaborate with internal teams to develop franchise business plans, ensure alignment with brand standards, and provide training and ongoing support to franchisees to help them achieve operational and financial targets.
5.This role also involves monitoring franchise performance, gathering feedback, and recommending improvements to enhance network growth and partner success.
Qualifications
Proficiency in franchise-related activities, including Franchise Sales and Franchising, with experience managing franchise networks or channel partnerships.
Strong Business Planning skills, with the ability to develop, analyze, and present franchise business models and growth strategies.
Hands-on experience in Lead Generation, pipeline management, and conversion, preferably in education, training, or related sectors.
Ability to deliver Training and onboarding support to franchise partners, ensuring adherence to brand standards and operational processes.
Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills, with a collaborative and professional approach.
Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field; an MBA or equivalent postgraduate qualification is an advantage.
Prior experience in franchise development, business development, or sales in education, edtech, or training industries is highly desirable.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, comfort with targets and performance metrics, and proficiency in basic office and CRM tools.
