General Description
We are looking for an Associate IGA Engineer to support Identity Governance Deployments across different product areas. This role will engage in the development of SailPoint Identity Security Cloud (aka ISC), Saviynt, ConductorOne (aka C1) and Lumos products while providing “Wow Them” service to clients and/or internal customers or co-workers.
The Associate IGA Engineer must demonstrate strong logical reasoning, technical analysis skills, and curiosity about SaaS platforms and emerging Agentic/AI tools, with a willingness to learn the technical syntax of the tools we provide Identity services for. The role requires working collaboratively with a team to align delivery with business objectives and priorities.
About the IGA Practice
The IGA Practice is responsible for partnering with customers on Identity maturity programs with specific focus on Identity Governance, Automation and Administration objectives. The Practice provides services offerings to support new implementations, ongoing enhancements, managed services and advisory services for customers in diverse industry verticals.
Our team of Managing Security Consultants, Architects, and Engineers focuses on establishing industry best practices, repeatable processes, and gaining efficiency on business operations in the realm of overarching IAM Programs and IGA focus areas. We partner with the executive stakeholders, Business Line Owners, and IAM Leads to execute IGA projects as business process enablers to improve security posture without slowing down innovation.
Roles and Responsibilities
Support the implementation and enhancement of Identity Governance and Administration (IGA) solutions under the guidance of senior engineers and architects
Gather and document technical requirements and design
Participate in client discussions alongside senior team members, contributing to requirements gathering and documentation
Actively engage in training, mentorship, and self-study to build IGA domain expertise
Required Experience and Education
Education: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Cybersecurity, or a related field (or equivalent practical experience)
Experience: 0–2 years of experience in IT, cybersecurity, or a related technical field; direct IGA experience is a plus but not required
Foundational understanding of directory services (e.g., Active Directory) and cloud identity concepts (e.g., Azure AD/Entra ID); exposure to APIs, web services, or data integration concepts is a plus
Basic familiarity with data formats such as XML and JSON, and an understanding of how web services (REST/SOAP) work
Awareness of identity lifecycle concepts (e.g., onboarding, offboarding, role changes) or willingness to learn
Interest in understanding access governance concepts such as access reviews and certification campaigns
Basic awareness of compliance and access control principles (e.g., least privilege, separation of duties) or willingness to learn
Familiarity with the Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC)
Strong verbal and written skills to develop technical documentation and presentations
Embraces emerging technologies, including AI tools, to work smarter, solve problems, and drive better business outcomes
Preferred Experience and Education
Relevant industry certifications such as CompTIA Security+, Microsoft SC-300, or any identity/security vendor certification (e.g., SailPoint, Saviynt, ConductorOne, Lumos, or comparable vendors)
Completion of free or self-paced IGA vendor training (e.g., SailPoint University, ConductorOne documentation, or similar resources)
Internship, co-op, or academic project experience related to identity management, cybersecurity, or access management
Familiarity with scripting languages (e.g., Python, PowerShell) for automation tasks
Travel Requirements
Up to 10% travel

Substantial movement of the wrists, hands, and/or fingers for a minimum of 8 hours a day
Required to have close visual acuity to view computer terminal and/or extensive reading for a minimum of 8 hours a day
