Job Overview
We are looking for an experienced Siemens Opcenter MES Developer with strong
hands-on experience in MES development, configuration, customization, and system
integration.
The candidate should understand manufacturing processes and be able to convert
business requirements into scalable MES solutions.
Key Responsibilities
Design, develop, configure, and customize Siemens Opcenter MES solutions.
Configure workflows, screens, business rules, reports, and production
processes.
Integrate Opcenter MES with ERP, PLM, SCADA, PLC, WMS, LIMS, Quality, and
other systems.
Develop and support APIs, web services, database procedures, and system
interfaces.
Analyze manufacturing processes and identify opportunities for automation and
process improvement.
Work with business and manufacturing teams to gather requirements and translate
them into technical solutions.
Support SIT, UAT, deployment, go-live, upgrades, and production support.
Troubleshoot MES issues and perform root-cause analysis.
Prepare technical and functional documentation.
Work with global and cross-functional teams and provide technical guidance when
required.
Must-Have Skills
Hands-on Siemens Opcenter MES experience.
Strong understanding of MES and manufacturing processes.
Experience with MES configuration, development, and customization.
Strong SQL and relational database knowledge.
Experience with REST APIs, web services, and system integrations.
Knowledge of .NET, Java, JavaScript, or similar technologies.
Experience in testing, deployment, production support, and troubleshooting.
Good communication and stakeholder-management skills.
Manufacturing / MES Knowledge
Candidates should have experience with some of the following:
Production execution and work orders
Material and lot traceability
Dispatching and scheduling
Equipment and labor tracking
Electronic work instructions
Quality and non-conformance
Genealogy and production reporting
Manufacturing master data

Integration with SAP/Oracle or other ERP systems

Experience in automotive, aerospace, electronics, semiconductor, or discrete
manufacturing
