Business Specialis

Role Description The Business Specialist role is a part-time, remote position focused on supporting business operations and strategic initiatives. Day-to-day tasks include analyzing business data and performance metrics, assisting with business planning activities, and preparing reports and presentations for leadership. The role also involves communicating with internal teams and external partners, helping to refine processes that improve customer service and overall client experience, and supporting administrative and documentation needs related to projects and contracts. The Business Specialist will collaborate closely with management to identify opportunities for operational improvements, monitor key performance indicators, and contribute to business development activities.
Qualifications
Strong Analytical Skills to interpret data, identify trends, and support decision-making.
Experience with Business Planning and general Business operations, including budgeting, forecasting, or process improvement.
Effective Communication skills for clear written and verbal interaction with internal teams and external stakeholders.
Customer Service experience and client-focused mindset to support positive relationships and responsive service.
Proficiency with common business software (e.g., spreadsheets, presentation tools, CRM or project management systems).
Organizational and time management skills to handle multiple tasks in a part-time remote environment.
Ability to work independently, maintain confidentiality, and demonstrate sound judgment.
Relevant education in Business, Management, Finance, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
Familiarity with construction or project-based industries is beneficial but not required.
