Role Description The Solutions Architect will design and oversee end-to-end technical solutions that support Outcome School’s learning platform, program operations, and employer partnerships. This full-time remote role involves collaborating with product, engineering, curriculum, and partnerships teams to translate business needs into scalable architectures and integrated systems. Day-to-day responsibilities include assessing requirements, designing solution blueprints, guiding software development and integration efforts, and ensuring systems are reliable, secure, and aligned with workforce development goals. The role also includes consulting with internal stakeholders, documenting architectures and standards, and proactively improving business processes through technology. The Solutions Architect will help ensure that Outcome School’s technology ecosystem can scale to support learners, instructors, and employers in multiple programs and geographies.
Qualifications
Strong Solution Architecture skills, including designing scalable, secure, and maintainable systems across cloud and on-premises environments.
Consulting and stakeholder engagement skills, with the ability to gather requirements, advise non-technical partners, and translate needs into technical designs.
Hands-on Software Development experience in modern languages and frameworks, with the ability to work closely with engineering teams on implementation.
Expertise in Integration of platforms and services, including APIs, data flows, and interoperability between learning, CRM, and analytics tools.
Understanding of Business Process design and optimization, with experience mapping workflows and aligning technology solutions to operational goals.
Experience architecting solutions for education, workforce development, or similar mission-driven environments is beneficial.
Familiarity with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, or GCP), security best practices, and data privacy standards.
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems, or equivalent practical experience.
Ability to work independently in a remote setting, manage multiple priorities, and communicate clearly in written and verbal form.
