Omniverse – Lead Software Engineer II
Enterprise Performance
Our Enterprise Performance team is at the forefront of enterprise technology, working across finance, supply chain, and IT operations to support the delivery of holistic performance improvement and digital transformation. We support Deloitte client service teams of strategic advisors and architects, differentiated by our industry depth to help collaborate with leading insights providers and leverage your experience in strategy, process design, technology enablement, and operational services to enable the heart of business solutions.

Deloitte's Physical AI practice helps clients extend artificial intelligence beyond digital systems and into physical operations, including robotics, digital twins, and intelligent industrial environments. The Techno-Functional Manager serves as the functional and technical lead for Physical AI engagements, with responsibility for solution shaping, end-to-end architecture decisions, and client relationships across simulation, robotics, and industrial AI initiatives, including supply chain and manufacturing transformation programs.

Lead Physical AI engagements for manufacturing and supply chain clients by identifying high-value use cases, developing roadmaps and business cases, and establishing measurable value targets.
Shape end-to-end architectures across simulation, digital twins, robotics, and industrial AI; evaluate platform and vendor options; and ensure alignment with functional and business requirements.
Direct proofs of concept and pilots by defining experiments, evaluation metrics, and scale plans, while addressing operational constraints such as latency, reliability, safety, operational technology/information technology connectivity, and human-in-the-loop workflows.
Coordinate engineering, data science, robotics, cloud, alliance, and ecosystem teams to manage delivery dependencies, risks, issue resolution, and client-ready delivery assets.
Lead client-facing delivery and pre-sales activities, including proposals, effort estimates, executive presentations, workshops, scope, budget, timeline, staffing, and stakeholder communications; mentor multidisciplinary teams and contribute to market-facing capabilities.

The Enterprise Performance team leverages deep industry knowledge, strong analytical skills, and practical approaches to address clients’ toughest business challenges. Our professionals as part of the Supply Chain Network Operations (SCNO) service line within Enterprise Performance focus on helping organizations achieve sustainable competitive advantage throughout their operations, spanning product development, planning, sourcing, manufacturing, logistics, and distribution. We excel at translating strategic objectives into tangible, measurable outcomes at the operational level. By aligning high-level goals with frontline execution, we ensure our clients realize real value and improved performance across every stage of their supply chain and operations.
Location: Bengaluru / Hyderabad / Pune / Chennai
Shift Timings: 11 AM to 8 PM or 2 PM to 11 PM IST as per business requirements
Qualifications
Required:
Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Business, Robotics, Industrial Engineering, or Supply Chain Management.
8-12 years of experience in technology consulting, program leadership, product leadership, business architecture, or functional architecture, including responsibilities involving robotics, digital twins, industrial automation, or physical AI.
Experience with NVIDIA Omniverse, FlexSim, Visual Components, and Robot Operating System (ROS/ROS 2) ecosystems, including solution shaping, architecture evaluation, or vendor evaluation.
Experience using Python to review implementation approaches or facilitate technical discussions with engineering teams.
Experience applying vision-language models (VLMs) to robotics or physical AI solution design.
Hands-on experience implementing physical AI or robotics solutions for smart factory, warehouse automation, logistics network, or distribution operation use cases.
Experience leading client-facing advisory engagements, proofs of concept, and implementations, including requirements definition, operational handover, proposal leadership, pipeline development, account expansion, and executive stakeholder presentations.
Preferred:
Experience using a 3D factory or process simulation platform to model manufacturing or supply chain operations.
Experience designing governance and operating models for physical AI in production, including model monitoring and drift management, incident response, human-in-the-loop processes, and safety and controls integration.
Experience developing reusable accelerators, reference architectures, or enablement content for physical AI.
Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Business Administration, Robotics, Industrial Engineering, or Supply Chain Management.
Project Management Professional (PMP), Agile, or Scrum certification.
Prior consulting experience at a Big Four professional services firm or a management consulting firm.
