Our CNAs are essential members of the Nursing Team. You’ll have a real voice in everyday care planning and in delivering care that fits each resident’s individual needs. What you’ll do
As a CNA, you’ll help residents with personal hygiene and activities of daily living in ways that meet their needs. You’ll care for the whole person: social, emotional, mental, spiritual, and physical. Day to day, you will:
Provide daily hygiene care for residents with dignity and respect
Get to know each resident’s preferences so you can personalize their care
Document care accurately and promptly report any changes or concerns to the right team members
Follow safety, infection control, and risk management procedures
Keep your supervisor updated on each resident’s status and condition
Support the team with other duties as needed
Basic Qualifications & Experience
High School diploma or equivalent.
Colorado State Certified Nursing Assistant License
3 – 6 months experience in a long-term care preferred.
Must be able to read, write and speak the English language.
Must possess excellent customer service skills.
Working Conditions / Physical Requirements
Position requires medium-heavy physical work. Heavy lifting, pushing or pulling objects up to 100 pounds of force occasionally and/or up in excess of 45 pounds of force repeatedly to move objects.
Stands and walks constantly during working hours with occasional sitting, kneeling, squatting, and reaching above shoulder height and fine motor control with fingers. Also requires grasping.
Exposure to blood borne pathogens, body excretions and communicable diseases
Is subject to frequent interruptions.
Interacts with residents, family members and visitors frequently.
