Lead with your clinical skills and your heart
At the Suites of Someren Glen, we believe our community thrives when our care partners are happy and empowered to give their best. If you have experience in long-term care or memory care and a real passion for working with older adults, we’d love to meet you.
As a Registered Nurse, you’ll be a leader on our Nursing Team. You’ll guide resident care from planning through evaluation, so each resident gets care that fits their individual needs and supports their whole well-being. You’ll work closely with physicians, pharmacists, families, and fellow care partners, and you’ll mentor the team members you work alongside. We support our nurses’ professional growth and value their clinical judgment and leadership.
We’re looking for strong team players who will go the extra mile for each other and, above all, for the residents who call our community home.
What you’ll do
You’ll plan, organize, direct, carry out, and evaluate all aspects of resident care. You’ll meet each resident’s total needs while following state and federal regulations and community policies. Day to day, you will:

Listen to concerns from residents, families, and physicians, then take corrective action or escalate as needed
Take part in Resident Care conferences and keep Resident Care Plans accurate and up to date

Document resident care issues and report them to the appropriate personnel
Recognize signs and symptoms, and use sound clinical judgment to choose the right treatments and procedures
Supervise and direct CNAs and other support staff, and take corrective action when needed
Support the team with other duties as needed
