Role Description The Vice President of Products is a full-time, remote leadership role responsible for defining and executing the product vision and strategy for sustainable technology offerings. This position oversees the entire product lifecycle, including market research, product roadmap creation, prioritization of features, and alignment with organizational goals. The role involves leading and mentoring product teams, collaborating with cross-functional partners in engineering, marketing, sales, and operations, and ensuring that products deliver measurable environmental and business impact. The Vice President of Products will regularly analyze market trends, customer feedback, and performance data to guide product decisions, refine positioning, and identify new opportunities. This role also drives product governance, sets standards for product excellence, and represents product initiatives to senior leadership and external stakeholders.
Qualifications
Demonstrated expertise in Product Strategy and Product Management, with a track record of launching and scaling successful products.
Strong Analytical Skills to interpret market data, user insights, and performance metrics for informed product decisions.
Proven experience in Product Development, including managing roadmaps, feature prioritization, and iterative improvement.
Established ability in Cross-functional Team Leadership, working effectively with engineering, design, marketing, sales, and operations.
Extensive leadership experience in product organizations, ideally at the director or VP level.
Background in sustainability, climate tech, or related sectors is highly beneficial.
Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and decision-making skills.
Bachelor’s degree in business, engineering, technology, or a related field; advanced degree is a plus.
Comfort working in a remote, distributed environment with strong self-management and collaboration skills.
