Key Responsibilities
QA Environment Administration
Administer and maintain multiple QA and non-production environments.
Prepare environments for scheduled software releases and QA testing activities.
Maintain environment availability, stability, and consistency across all testing environments.
Perform routine Windows Server administration and environment maintenance.
Configure application settings, IIS configuration, Windows Services, scheduled tasks, and environment-specific configuration files.
Coordinate environment readiness with Development, QA, Infrastructure, Configuration Management, and DBA teams.
Application Deployment
Prepare and deploy bi-weekly, monthly, and Major Releases.
Execute software deployments using TrueSight Server Automation (TSSA).
Deploy application binaries, configuration files, Windows Services, IIS applications, and supporting components.
Perform post-deployment validation and support smoke testing activities.
Troubleshoot deployment failures and resolve application configuration issues.
SQL Server Administration
Administer SQL Server databases supporting QA environments.
Create, drop, refresh, back up, and restore databases.
Configure and maintain SQL Server replication.
Perform database refreshes for QA testing.
Troubleshoot SQL Server issues impacting QA testing.
QA Support & Troubleshooting
Support QA teams during smoke testing, functional testing, regression testing, integration testing, and User Acceptance Testing (UAT).
Investigate and resolve environment, deployment, application configuration, IIS, Windows, SQL Server, and connectivity issues.
