Position Summary
The Maintenance Technician is responsible for responding to maintenance requests as instructed by the Maintenance Supervisor. This position ensures that the physical aspects of the property meet the company’s established standards and any applicable laws. Qualifications for this full-time position are working knowledge in plumbing, electrical and small appliance repair.
Key Responsibilities:
Assist in meeting 2B's goals relative to resident satisfaction and resident retention
Install control and distribution apparatus, such as but not limited to, switches, relays, and circuit breaker panels, fastening in place with screws or bolts, using hand tools and power tools
Observe functioning of installed equipment or system to detect hazards and need for adjustments, relocation, or replacement
Repair or assist in repair of faulty equipment or systems
