Role Description The Senior Admissions Counselor is a full-time, on-site role based in Bengaluru, responsible for guiding prospective learners through the admissions process. Day-to-day responsibilities include responding to inquiries, conducting consultations, understanding candidate goals, and recommending suitable programs aligned with their career aspirations. The role involves managing leads, following up with prospects, conducting information sessions, and maintaining accurate records in admissions systems. The Senior Admissions Counselor will collaborate with academic and operations teams to ensure a smooth onboarding experience and will contribute to enrollment strategies, outreach initiatives, and process improvements. This position requires a strong focus on learner success, ethical counseling practices, and meeting enrollment objectives.
Qualifications
Candidates should possess strong Interpersonal Communication and general Communication skills to effectively engage with prospective learners and stakeholders.
Candidates should possess solid Customer Service abilities to provide timely, empathetic, and solution-focused support throughout the admissions journey.
Candidates should possess Sales skills to manage leads, convert inquiries into enrollments, and meet admissions targets in a consultative, learner-first manner.
Candidates should possess an understanding of Education, including familiarity with skill-based learning, career pathways, and the higher education or training ecosystem.
Relevant experience in admissions, counseling, student advising, or education services is highly beneficial.
Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and proficiency with CRM or admissions management tools are preferred.
Bachelor’s degree in any discipline; a background in education, psychology, business, or related fields is an advantage.
Ability to work on-site in Bengaluru, collaborate within a team, and uphold inclusive, non-discriminatory counseling practices.
