Position Overview:Join the Finning Canada family, part of the world's largest Caterpillar dealer. We are currently recruiting for a Tool Room Attendant at Mildred Lake, AB to support our Service Operations team.
This position is responsible for maintaining tool room inventory and shop supplies to support shop and field activities. The successful candidate will help ensure tools and equipment are properly tracked, maintained, repaired, calibrated, and readily available to support safe and efficient operations.

Job Description:
Track and control tooling costs and repairs on a regular basis.
Sign tools in and out and maintain accurate inventory records.
Maintain tracking records for company-issued tools assigned to employees.
Perform day-to-day repairs and maintenance of small tools and equipment.
Coordinate the shipment of tools for repair and calibration.
Work closely with the Service Operations Manager to coordinate tool replacements, additions, and repair cost options.
Maintain tool room inventory levels and organization.
Support shop and field operations by ensuring tooling is available, operational, and compliant.
Follow all Finning and site safety policies, procedures, and standards.
Perform other related duties as required.
Qualifications:
High School Diploma or equivalent.
Experience with tool repair, tool maintenance, inventory control, or purchasing experience.
Valid Driver's License with successful recent driver abstract, due to safety requirements must be minimum 21 years of age.
Physical requirement ability to lift/move up to 40 lbs.
Self-starter with the ability to follow directions and work effectively within a team environment.
Excellent organizational, interpersonal, and communication skills.
Ability to work with minimal supervision while maintaining a strong focus on safety.
Previous building maintenance and shipping/receiving experience would be considered an asset.
Computer experience, including exposure to DBS, SIS, inventory management, or asset tracking systems, would be considered an asset.
Important Information:
This position is based in Mildred Lake on a 14x14 Shift. Hours and shift schedule may be subject to change to meet customer and/or Finning (Canada) requirements.
Please note that any future shift changes that may occur will be made in accordance with the Terms & Conditions of the current Collective Agreement.
