Senior Director/Head of Statistical Programming
Head of Statistical Programming, reporting to the VP, Biometrics. Builds the team and oversee CROs while staying hands-on in SAS and submission work.
What you'll do
Lead the function: standards, QC, hiring, resourcing, budget.
Stay hands-on: review specs, ADaM, TFLs, define.xml; fix hard issues; code critical deliverables.
Own CRO oversight: selection, governance, quality, escalation.
Lead integrated analyses and submission packages.
Build automation: SAS macros, R/Shiny, visualization tools.
Partner with Biostatistics, Data Management, Clinical, Regulatory, and PV.
What you bring
Required
Currently head of statistical programming, or therapeutic area programming head.
MS/PhD in statistics, computer science, or a related quantitative field.
12+ years of statistical programming in pharma, biotech, or CRO.
Late-stage and regulatory submission experience (SDTM, ADaM, define.xml).
Expert, current SAS: Base, STAT, Macro, SQL.
Proven CRO oversight.
Preferred
R and R/Shiny development, or similar tools for automation and visualization.
Experience building a programming function or standards library from an early stage.It is
SAS Base and Advanced Programmer certifications.
Location
East Coast candidates are strongly preferred, New Jersey area first.
