Trial Attorney

Robert Half Legal is working with a prominent plaintiff-side consumer warranty practice seeking a Trial Attorney to join its litigation team. This position is ideal for an attorney with solid civil litigation experience who wants meaningful courtroom exposure, hands-on trial involvement, and the chance to grow within a busy, well-established practice.
What You’ll Do
Take ownership of core litigation responsibilities, including motion practice and trial readiness
Appear in court for hearings and related proceedings across California
Oversee discovery efforts, including managing disputes and helping shape discovery strategy
Partner with lead trial counsel on pretrial development and in-court execution
Assist in formulating litigation strategy from case inception through verdict
Serve in a first- or second-chair trial capacity, depending on level of experience
What We’re Looking For
Active membership in the California State Bar
Must live in California and be open to travel statewide for court matters
3+ years of civil litigation experience
Demonstrated strength in discovery, motions, and trial prep
Comfortable stepping into a high-volume, fast-moving litigation environment
Compensation & Benefits
Base salary up to $250,000+ depending on experience
