Role Description The Software Engineer Intern role at ZOLDO is a full-time, on-site position based in Bengaluru. Interns will collaborate with engineering teams to design, develop, and test software components for web and backend systems, following best practices in coding, documentation, and version control. Day-to-day responsibilities include writing clean and efficient code, debugging and resolving technical issues, reviewing code with mentors, and contributing to feature development and maintenance tasks. Interns will also participate in team meetings, follow agile workflows, and learn to work with modern tools, frameworks, and development pipelines. The role offers structured guidance, exposure to live projects, and opportunities to build practical skills that support long-term growth in software engineering.
Qualifications
Strong foundation in core Computer Science concepts such as data structures, algorithms, and operating systems.
Hands-on experience or coursework in Software Development and Back-End Web Development, including working with APIs and databases.
Proficiency in Programming using at least one modern language (e.g., Java, Python, JavaScript, C#, or similar).
Understanding of Object-Oriented Programming (OOP) principles and ability to apply them in real projects.
Basic familiarity with version control tools (e.g., Git) and collaborative development workflows.
Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related discipline.
Strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and willingness to learn from feedback and mentorship.
Effective communication skills and ability to work in a team-oriented, fast-paced environment.
