HR Director – India

A leading pharmaceutical company is seeking an experienced HR Director – India to lead its human resources strategy and operations. This role will drive talent development, organizational effectiveness, and employee engagement while aligning HR initiatives with business objectives.
Key Responsibilities
* Develop and implement HR strategies aligned with business goals and local market requirements.
* Lead talent acquisition, workforce planning, leadership development, and succession planning.
* Oversee compensation and benefits, performance management, and employee engagement initiatives.
* Drive organizational development, change management, and HR process improvement.
* Ensure compliance with Indian labor laws and employment regulations.
* Partner with senior leadership to strengthen organizational capability and support business growth.
Qualifications
* Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field; a master’s degree is preferred.
* 12+ years of progressive HR experience, including senior HR leadership roles.
* Experience in the pharmaceutical or life sciences industry is strongly preferred.
* Strong knowledge of Indian labor laws, HR best practices, and organizational development.
* Proven track record in strategic HR management, talent development, and change leadership.
* Excellent leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
