Role Description
We are looking for a Junior Graphic Designer (Remote) to join our team and support the Group’s brands— including Peter Stuyvesant Travel, Asia Experience, Orastra, and J-Horizons.
This role is perfect for a thoughtful designer with strong layout and typography fundamentals who understands the why behind a brief—not just someone who executes instructions mechanically.
Key Responsibilities
Interpret written and verbal briefs and translate them into appropriate design solutions.
Ask relevant questions and confirm requirements before beginning work.
Design and update presentations, brochures, company profiles, proposals, name cards, social content and other brand materials.
Apply each brand’s guidelines consistently across print and digital work.
Develop distinct design concepts and explain the reasoning behind them.
Prepare accurate, production-ready artwork and final exports.
Check all work for spelling, alignment, spacing, imagery, logos, content accuracy and brief compliance before submission.
Incorporate feedback carefully and ensure all requested revisions are completed.
Organise editable files, exports, linked assets and versions within the shared folder system.
Manage assigned deadlines and raise questions or potential delays early.
Support ad hoc design and production requirements across the Group.

Submissions are complete and thoroughly checked before review.
Repeated errors and avoidable rework are minimised.

Requirements
Diploma or degree in Graphic Design, Visual Communication or a related field.
Around 1-3 years of relevant experience, including internships or freelance work.
Professional English proficiency with strong written comprehension and attention to detail
A portfolio demonstrating strong layout, typography and visual communication fundamentals.
Proficiency in Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop and InDesign; PowerPoint and Canva proficiency is preferred.
Strong comprehension and the ability to interpret both written and verbal briefs.
Good command of written English and careful attention to spelling and content accuracy.
Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing complete, polished work.
Ability to explain design decisions and receive feedback professionally.
Organised, dependable and able to manage multiple assignments.
Willingness to learn, ask questions and take ownership of assigned work.
