Job Title: WCS Engineer (WebSphere Commerce)
Location: India (Remote)
Job Type: Contract
Duration: 6 Months
Job Description:
We are looking for an experienced WebSphere Commerce (WCS) Engineer to join our team on a 6-month remote contract. The ideal candidate should have strong expertise in IBM WebSphere Commerce development, customization, integration, and production support.
Key Responsibilities:
Develop, customize, and maintain IBM WebSphere Commerce (WCS/HCL Commerce) applications.
Design and implement scalable eCommerce solutions.
Integrate WCS with external systems, including payment gateways, ERP, CRM, and third-party services.
Troubleshoot and resolve application and production issues.
Optimize application performance and ensure high availability.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams including business analysts, QA, and DevOps.
Participate in code reviews and follow best development practices.
Required Skills:
Strong experience with IBM WebSphere Commerce (WCS/HCL Commerce).
Proficiency in Java, J2EE, JSP, Servlets, and Spring Framework.
Experience with REST/SOAP web services and system integrations.
Good knowledge of SQL and relational databases.
Familiarity with source control tools such as Git.
Experience with application servers such as WebSphere Application
