Role Description The Ecommerce Manager is a full-time, on-site role based in Kanpur, responsible for overseeing and optimizing online sales channels for client businesses. This role involves managing product listings, pricing, promotions, and inventory coordination across ecommerce platforms, ensuring accurate and compelling content that drives conversions. The Ecommerce Manager monitors performance metrics, analyzes sales data, and implements strategies to improve customer experience and revenue. Daily tasks include collaborating with marketing and web development teams, coordinating with customer service to resolve issues, and supporting business planning for new campaigns and online initiatives. The role also requires staying current with ecommerce trends, platform updates, and best practices to continuously enhance client results.
Qualifications
Strong analytical skills to interpret ecommerce metrics, track performance, and identify optimization opportunities.
Experience with business planning, including forecasting, budgeting, and developing growth strategies for online sales.
Effective communication skills for coordinating with internal teams, clients, and external partners.
Customer service capabilities to support a positive buyer journey and address order or platform-related concerns.
Knowledge of sales operations, including order management, pricing strategies, and promotional workflows in ecommerce environments.
Familiarity with major ecommerce platforms (e.g., Shopify, WooCommerce, Magento, marketplaces) and basic understanding of digital marketing.
Ability to work on-site in Kanpur and collaborate in a fast-paced, results-driven environment.
Bachelor’s degree in business, marketing, commerce, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
