Tender Presenter (Team Leader – Mirrastone)
Location: Port Melbourne & Derrimut, with WFH flexibility
Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:30am to 5:00pm
The Opportunity

Sherridon Homes, part of the Mirrastone Group, is looking for an experienced and commercially minded Tender Presenter Team Leader to help us build and develop our Tender Presentation function.
This is more than a Tender Presenter position.
Initially, you’ll be hands on, working directly with clients and managing tenders across both Greenfields and Knockdown Rebuild projects. As the function grows, so will your opportunity, with the potential to help build, mentor and ultimately manage a high performing team of Tender Presenters.
And the earning potential is significant.
With a higher than usual retainer plus a highly attractive uncapped commission structure and OTE $200,000+, this role rewards someone who can combine strong residential building knowledge with exceptional client engagement and commercial capability.
You don’t necessarily need to be a current Tender Presenter either.
If you have a strong new home sales background and understand the residential building journey, but you’re ready to step away from traditional sales into a broader role with longer term leadership potential, this could be the move you’ve been looking for.
What You’ll Be Doing
You’ll sit at one of the most important points in our customer journey, taking clients from a successful sale through tender, design and ultimately contract signing.
You will:
• Present tenders, working drawings, specifications and inclusions to clients
• Manage both Greenfields and Knockdown Rebuild customers
• Guide clients confidently through tender, design and pre construction
• Explain pricing, site costs, variations, upgrades and design outcomes clearly
• Build strong relationships and become a trusted point of contact for clients
• Coordinate closely with Sales, Drafting and Estimating to keep jobs progressing
• Review drawings, pricing and documentation prior to contract preparation
• Identify potential issues early and take ownership of finding solutions
• Guide customers through the HIA contract signing process
• Deliver an outstanding customer experience while maintaining commercial outcomes
• Help establish processes and standards as the Tender Presentation function grows
• Over time, assist with building, mentoring and leading a team of Tender Presenters
Who We’re Looking For
There are a few different backgrounds that could work exceptionally well in this role.
You may already be an experienced Tender Presenter ready for greater responsibility and leadership.
You might come from new home sales, have an excellent understanding of the residential building process and be looking to move away from traditional sales into a broader client and commercially focused role.
Or you may have experience across pre site, estimating, drafting coordination or customer experience and be ready for your next career step.
What matters most is that you:
• Have strong residential building knowledge
• Are confident presenting and communicating with clients
• Can build trust and rapport quickly
• Understand plans, pricing, variations, inclusions and site costs
• Have strong commercial awareness and negotiation skills
• Can simplify complex building information for customers
• Are organized and capable of managing multiple clients and priorities
• Take ownership and solve problems rather than passing them on
• Can work effectively across Sales, Drafting, Estimating and Operations
• Have the confidence and capability to eventually help build and lead a team
Experience across Greenfields and/or Knockdown Rebuild would be highly regarded.
