Role Description The Senior Engineering Manager (Canada & Australia) is a full-time, on-site role based in Canada & Australia. This position oversees engineering teams that build and maintain technology solutions supporting immigration and visa consulting services for Canada and Australia. Day-to-day responsibilities include leading software development initiatives, managing engineering projects, coordinating integration efforts between internal systems and external platforms, and ensuring delivery timelines and quality standards are met. The role involves collaborating with cross-functional stakeholders, setting technical direction, mentoring engineers, and implementing best practices in engineering management and process optimization. The Senior Engineering Manager is also expected to participate in strategic planning, resource allocation, and continuous improvement of tools and systems that enhance client and consultant experience.
Qualifications
Demonstrated proficiency in Engineering Management and Team Leadership, including experience guiding multi-disciplinary engineering teams.
Strong background in Software Development, with hands-on experience in designing, building, and maintaining scalable applications.
Proven skills in Project Management, including planning, prioritization, risk management, and delivery of complex technical initiatives.
Experience with Integration of systems, APIs, and third-party platforms to create seamless workflows and data exchange.
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical field.
Track record of working in product or platform-based environments, preferably in services or consulting domains.
Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and problem-solving abilities, with a focus on collaborative decision-making.
Experience managing distributed or cross-border teams and familiarity with global compliance or regulatory environments is an advantage.
