Job Summary
We are looking for an experienced Ignition Digital Manufacturing Engineer to design and develop Smart Factory applications, manufacturing dashboards, and real-time monitoring solutions. The candidate should have strong experience with the Ignition platform, SCADA systems, manufacturing KPIs, and industrial data integration.
Key Responsibilities
Design and develop Ignition Perspective applications for manufacturing, quality, and operations.
Develop interactive dashboards for OEE, productivity, WIP, quality, downtime, machine performance, and production KPIs.
Create SCADA/HMI screens with real-time machine connectivity using PLCs, Kepware, tags, alarms, and historians.
Develop quality dashboards covering SPC, defects, FPY, rework, traceability, and process parameters.
Build MES and shop-floor applications for order tracking, production confirmation, and digital work instructions.
Integrate Ignition with SQL Server, MES, Kepware, REST APIs, and enterprise systems.
Implement analytics, KPI monitoring, trends, reports, alarms, and drill-down dashboards.
Collaborate with manufacturing, quality, engineering, IT, and automation teams to deliver scalable Industry 4.0 solutions.
Mandatory Skills
5+ years of relevant experience with the Ignition platform.
Hands-on experience with SCADA and manufacturing dashboard development.
Strong knowledge of KPI dashboards, OEE, and SPC.
Experience in digital manufacturing and real-time industrial data visualization.
Technical Skills
Ignition Perspective, Ignition Vision, SCADA/HMI, SQL Server, SQL, Python/Jython, Kepware, OPC-UA, PLC integration, tag management, alarm management, historian, MES integration, REST APIs, data visualization, SPC/quality analytics, manufacturing analytics, MQTT/IIoT, and Industry 4.0.
Additional Information
Bangalore-based role.
General shift: 8:00 AM–5:00 PM.
BE/B.Tech qualification required.
Candidates must be prepared for a customer interview round.
