Role Description This is a full-time, on-site AGM–Accounts (CA–SAP FICO) role based in Raipur. The role involves overseeing the entire accounting function, including general ledger, accounts payable and receivable, fixed assets, and statutory compliance. The AGM–Accounts will manage month-end and year-end closing, prepare financial statements, and ensure adherence to accounting standards, tax regulations, and internal control policies. The position requires extensive use of SAP FICO for configuration, data validation, financial postings, and reconciliation, as well as coordination with internal and external auditors. The role also includes supporting budgeting and forecasting, analyzing cost and profitability, providing financial insights to leadership, and mentoring the accounts team to drive process efficiency.
Qualifications
Chartered Accountant (CA) with strong knowledge of Indian Accounting Standards, taxation, statutory compliance, and financial reporting.
Hands-on expertise in SAP S/4HANA Public Cloud, particularly in Finance (FI/FICO), including General Ledger (GL), Accounts Payable (AP), Accounts Receivable (AR), Asset Accounting, Cost Centre Accounting, and financial reporting.
Strong understanding of SAP S/4HANA Public Cloud implementation, configuration, process integration, and optimization within the finance and accounting function.
Proven experience in corporate accounting, financial statement preparation, month-end closing, reconciliations, audit coordination, and management reporting.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret financial data and provide meaningful insights for business decision-making.
Prior experience in the manufacturing or FMCG industry; exposure to fats & oils, agro, food processing, or related sectors will be preferred.
Ability to design, strengthen, and implement internal controls, improve accounting processes, and ensure accuracy and integrity of financial data.
High level of integrity, attention to detail, and ownership, with the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, on-site environment at Raipur
