Head -Digital & VRM Wealth Distribution
Location: Mumbai / Delhi-NCR | Experience: 10–15+ Years | Industry: BFSI / AMC / Wealth Management / Financial Distribution / Fintech
Role Overview -We are looking for a senior professional with strong hands-on experience and 360° understanding of Digital & VRM wealth distribution, preferably from an AMC, Wealth Management, Broking or Financial Distribution organisation.
The candidate should understand the complete Digital/VRM ecosystem — customer acquisition, digital onboarding, sales, engagement, upsell/cross-sell, servicing and retention — along with the technology, people and processes required to scale the channel.
Key Responsibilities
· Build and scale the Digital & VRM Wealth Distribution channel.
· Develop a scalable VRM operating model, customer journey and sales process.
· Drive customer acquisition, onboarding, conversion, AUM, revenue, upsell and cross-sell.
· Develop a multi-product wealth proposition based on customer needs and investment objectives.
· Build and manage high-performing VRM / inside-sales teams, including hiring, training, productivity and performance management.
· Drive seamless digital + human-assisted customer journeys across acquisition, investment and servicing.
· Work closely with Technology/IT teams to develop and improve CRM, lead management, digital onboarding, customer journeys, dashboards and automation.
· Leverage AI, analytics and customer data to improve lead prioritisation, conversion, customer engagement and productivity.
· Establish clear MIS, KPIs, sales funnel and performance governance for the channel.
· Work closely with Product, Technology, Marketing, Operations, Compliance and Investment teams to build a scalable Digital/VRM wealth platform.
Ideal Candidate / Must-Have Experience
· 10–15+ years of BFSI experience, preferably from an AMC, Wealth Management, Broking or Financial Distribution organisation.
· Strong hands-on experience in Digital / VRM / Inside Sales / Remote Wealth Distribution.
· 360° understanding of the Digital & VRM channel, including acquisition, onboarding, sales, customer engagement, upsell, cross-sell, servicing and retention.
· Experience in setting up or scaling a VRM channel and managing sales teams.
· Strong understanding of technology-led sales and service models, including CRM, lead management, digital onboarding, analytics, AI and automation.
· Ability to translate business requirements into technology/process solutions and work effectively with technology teams.
· Understanding of multi-product wealth distribution across MF/SIP, Bonds, MLD, SIF, PMS, AIF, NPS and other investment products.
· Strong commercial orientation with understanding of AUM, revenue, conversion, productivity and profitability.
· Strong people leadership, stakeholder management and execution skills.
· Entrepreneurial mindset with the ability to build, scale and continuously improve a Digital/VRM wealth business.
