Job Title : Sr. Manager / General Manager – Finance & Accounts
Job Purpose : We are looking for a hands-on, sharp Head of Finance & Accounts who can manage our daily numbers today and help us scale tomorrow. We are a ₹25 Cr company manufacturing and supplying Smart Lockers, and we are growing fast.
Education : Post-Graduation in Accounts / Finance / Taxation / MBA /Inter CA / Inter CMA (Inter ICWA) .
Experience : 15+ years of experience in Accounts & Taxation. Prior Experience working in a ₹20 Cr to ₹50 Cr organization is a strong plus
Essential Knowledge, Skills & Attributes
Expertise in ERP NEXT,Tally, Zoho Books.
Understanding of Working Capital Management, credit cycles, asset-backed lending, Franchisee models.
Knowledge of Direct and Indirect Taxation
Strong leadership abilities with excellent communication Skills.
High analytical acumen and a problem-solving mindset.
Good communication & presentation skills
Time Management & Multi-tasking skills

Key Accountabilities / Responsibilities:
1. Treasury & Working Capital Optimization
Cash Flow Management: Monitor daily liquidity, balance cash inflows and outflows, and ensure we maintain a healthy cash flow to fund production and expansion.
Working Capital Efficiency: Manage the Accounts Receivable (AR) and Accounts Payable (AP) cycles to reduce our cash conversion cycle, ensuring money isn't unnecessarily trapped in inventory or unpaid invoices.
Banking & Funding: Maintain and strengthen relationships with commercial banks, negotiate credit lines, working capital loans, and oversee the allocation of funds.
2. Financial Planning, Budgeting & Forecasting
Budgeting & Cost Control: Lead the annual budgeting process across procurement, factory operations, and sales, running regular variance analyses to catch and fix cost overruns.
Strategic Insights: Provide clear, data-backed financial inputs to the leadership team to support decisions on scaling production or pricing product lines.
3. Core Accounting, Inventory Controls & MIS
Ledger Accuracy: Supervise the General Ledger (GL), ensuring all daily entries, bank reconciliations, Customer Reconciliations and vendor reconciliations are accurate and up to date.
Inventory & Factory Accounting: Establish strict internal controls over raw materials, work-in-progress (WIP), and finished goods inventory to prevent quantity and valuation errors.
System Building & MIS: Streamline financial SOPs and prepare practical monthly MIS reports and financial statements that give leadership a clear picture of performance.
4. Taxation, Audit & Compliance
Tax Compliance: Take full ownership of all Direct and Indirect Tax obligations, ensuring flawless and timely filings for GST, TDS, and Income Tax.
Audit Ownership: Act as the main point of contact for external and statutory auditors, managing the process smoothly to ensure timely closure of books.
Statutory Compliance: Keep the company fully compliant with factory regulations, corporate laws, and manufacturing-related statutory frameworks.
5. Leadership & Team Management
1. Team Building: Manage, mentor, and gradually scale a lean finance and accounts team as the company grows.
2. Financial Discipline: Drive a culture of accuracy, accountability, and cost-consciousness across the production facility and corporate office.
