Role Description The Architectural Drafter will translate design concepts into accurate technical drawings and documentation for residential, commercial, and institutional projects. Day-to-day responsibilities include preparing architectural plans, elevations, and sections, developing construction drawings, and updating drawings based on design changes and coordination feedback. The role involves collaborating with architects, engineers, and project team members, ensuring drawings comply with relevant standards, codes, and project requirements. The drafter will also assist in planning layouts, organizing drawing sets, and maintaining digital files and documentation. This is a full-time, on-site role located in Gwalior.
Qualifications
Candidates should possess strong skills in Architectural Drawings and Drawing for detailed, accurate plan development.
Candidates should possess foundational knowledge of Architecture and Planning to support design intent and project layouts.
Candidates should possess experience in producing Construction Drawings for execution and coordination on site.
Proficiency in CAD and drafting software (e.g., AutoCAD, Revit, or similar tools) is beneficial.
Diploma or degree in Architecture, Architectural Drafting, or a related field is preferred.
Ability to interpret design briefs, follow instructions, and meet deadlines with strong attention to detail.
Good communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively with multidisciplinary teams.
Understanding of local building codes, materials, and construction practices in India is an advantage.
