Role Description The Accountant will be responsible for managing day-to-day financial operations, including recording transactions, maintaining general ledgers, and ensuring accurate and timely bookkeeping. This full-time role includes preparing and reviewing financial statements, managing accounts payable and receivable, reconciling bank and cash accounts, and supporting budgeting and forecasting activities. The Accountant will monitor expenses, support cost analysis related to pest management services, and ensure compliance with relevant accounting standards, tax regulations, and company policies. The role also involves preparing periodic financial reports for management, assisting with internal controls, and coordinating with external auditors or tax consultants when needed. This is an on-site position based in Bengaluru, requiring close collaboration with operations and management teams to support sound financial decision-making.
Qualifications
Strong skills in financial accounting, general ledger management, and preparation of financial statements.
Proficiency in accounts payable, accounts receivable, and bank reconciliation activities.
Experience with budgeting, forecasting, and expense tracking to support operational and strategic planning.
Ability to use accounting software and spreadsheets effectively; familiarity with ERP or financial management systems is beneficial.
Knowledge of relevant accounting standards, tax regulations, and basic compliance requirements applicable in India.
Attention to detail, strong numerical aptitude, and ability to analyze financial data and identify discrepancies.
Effective communication skills and ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams in an on-site environment.
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Commerce, or a related field; professional certifications (such as CA, CMA, or equivalent) are an advantage.
Prior experience in service-oriented or field operations businesses, such as facilities management or pest control, is a plus.
