Ø **KPD** is looking for a talented, proactive and experienced **Architect** to join our team in Gandhinagar, Gujarat.
Ø We work on diverse government and public-sector projects involving architectural design, infrastructure development, DPR preparation, technical approvals and Project Management Consultancy (PMC).
Ø We are looking for a professional who can independently manage projects, coordinate with government departments and ensure timely delivery of quality work.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage government projects from project initiation to design approval, execution coordination and closure.
- Prepare architectural concepts, master plans, layouts, detailed drawings, working drawings and 3D presentations.
- Coordinate DPRs, BOQs, estimates, tender drawings and technical documentation.
- Liaise with government departments, municipal authorities, consultants, contractors and site teams.
- Coordinate architectural, structural, MEPF, HVAC, landscape and infrastructure design disciplines.
- Manage drawing submissions, revisions, technical observations and approval follow-ups.
- Support PMC activities through site visits, progress monitoring, design clarifications and quality coordination.
- Maintain project schedules, documentation, deliverable trackers and records in the company’s COMS system.
- Track project milestones, identify pending deliverables and support timely billing documentation.
- Independently manage assigned projects and ensure deadlines are met without constant supervision.
Candidate Requirements
- **Qualification:** M.Arch / B.Arch. from a recognised institution.
- **Experience:** Preferably 3–8 years in Urban Design, Landscape Design, Sustainable architectural design, Green space design, Government projects and/or PMC.
- Strong proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit, SketchUp, Lumion and MS Office.
- Practical knowledge of working drawings, design coordination and technical documentation.
- Experience dealing with government clients, approval procedures and public-sector projects will be preferred.
- Excellent coordination, communication, planning and problem-solving skills.
- Willingness to undertake site visits and travel as required.
- Strong ownership, accountability and ability to manage multiple projects independently.
