Role Description The Senior Social Media Manager is a full-time, hybrid role based in Mumbai, with flexibility for partial work-from-home arrangements. This role is responsible for leading social media strategy and execution across platforms, including planning content calendars, overseeing campaign rollouts, and optimizing channel performance. The Senior Social Media Manager will collaborate with internal teams and clients to develop creative concepts, craft copy, and guide visual storytelling aligned with brand objectives. Daily tasks include monitoring engagement, analyzing performance metrics, refining social media optimization (SMO) tactics, and managing community interactions. The role also involves mentoring junior team members, coordinating with influencer and performance marketing teams, and ensuring consistent brand messaging across all social touchpoints.
Qualifications
Ability to plan and execute Social Media Marketing initiatives, including platform-specific strategies and campaign management.
Strong Communication skills, with the capacity to collaborate with clients, cross-functional teams, and creators, and present ideas clearly.
Experience in developing and implementing Content Strategy for diverse brands and audiences.
Proficiency in Social Media Optimization (SMO), including analytics interpretation, A/B testing, and performance reporting.
Skilled in Writing for social platforms, with a focus on concise, engaging, and brand-aligned copy.
Demonstrated experience in a senior or lead social media role, preferably within an agency or multi-brand environment.
Familiarity with social media management and analytics tools (e.g., Meta Business Suite, LinkedIn, YouTube, scheduling and reporting platforms).
Ability to work in a hybrid setup in Mumbai, manage multiple projects simultaneously, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Media, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
