Purchase Specialist

Main Responsibilities:
Collaborate with the Supply Management team and support the headquarters team in Kleve by assisting with tasks including
Support and coordination of RFQs (Requests for Quotation) with suppliers in the Indian region, including initial commercial evaluation of quotations in alignment with Business Unit (BU).
Support the monitoring and coordination of supplier activities to achieve on-time delivery targets for materials.
Monitor and support the continuous improvement of inventory KPIs, focusing on material availability, inventory optimization at Vendor.
Track FAS items and coordinate the required quality control activities for FAS as well as production lots.
Assist in follow-up activities to ensure smooth material flow through supplier visits in India.
Demonstrated ability and willingness to use AI tools to improve productivity, decision-making, work quality, and to reduce costs. The successful candidate must be able to identify appropriate AI use cases and critically evaluate AI-generated outputs
Position Requirements:
Completed commercial or technical training (associate degree)
At least 3 years of professional experience in purchasing
Good written and spoken English skills, business fluent
Good user knowledge of MS Office products
