Industrial Designer

We’re hiring: Junior Industrial Design Engineer (1–2 yrs) | Bengaluru (Yelahanka) | On-site
At Prodancy, we design and manufacture medical devices. Our designs don’t stop at renders. They go to the toolroom and fabrication shop, get moulded and bent, and end up in operating theatres.
We’re looking for a junior designer who wants to learn how to make parts that are both good-looking and manufacturable, in plastics and sheet metal.
What you’ll do
Model products in Autodesk Fusion, from concept surfaces to production-ready parts
Design injection-moulded plastic parts: draft, wall thickness, parting lines, ribs and bosses
Design sheet metal parts and enclosures: bends, flat patterns, reliefs, fasteners and assembly
Iterate quickly with prototypes (3D printing, soft tooling, laser-cut and bent sheet metal)
What we’re looking for
1–2 years in industrial design or product design
Solid modelling and surfacing skills in Fusion
Working knowledge of plastics + sheet metal design.
Attention to detail. In medical devices, small errors become expensive tools.
