The Talent Acquisition Specialist – Technology Hiring will lead end-to-end talent acquisition for high-volume technology roles, partnering closely with business and HR leaders to translate workforce plans into effective hiring strategies. The role will manage an internal recruiting team and a blended delivery ecosystem comprising RPO partners, staffing vendors, and recruitment consultants. The incumbent will also drive campus and off-campus hiring, recruitment governance, dashboards, and regular leadership updates. Experience supporting a Global Capability Centre (GCC) will be an advantage.
Key Responsibilities
Technology Hiring Strategy & Delivery
Own the technology hiring strategy and deliver agreed workforce plans and hiring targets
Lead end-to-end hiring for high-volume, niche, and critical technology roles, from demand validation through offer and joining
Build talent pipelines through market mapping, direct sourcing, referrals, and digital channels, aligned with hiring-manager requirements
Team Leadership & Recruitment Operations
Lead and coach the recruitment team, allocate demand, set priorities, and monitor delivery and productivity
Run disciplined recruitment governance covering demand, pipeline, ageing, offers, joining, and escalations
Ensure process and system compliance while driving improvements in speed, quality, productivity, and candidate experience
RPO, Vendor & Consultant Management
Manage RPO partners, staffing vendors, and consultants against demand, service levels, quality, governance, and commercials
Review partner performance across pipeline quality, turnaround time, offer conversion, joining ratio, ageing, and cost effectiveness
Allocate demand across channels, resolve delivery escalations, and strengthen the external talent supply ecosystem
Campus & Early-Career Hiring
Design and execute on-campus and off-campus programmes for graduate and early-career technology talent
Build partnerships with institutions, placement teams, assessment partners, and internal stakeholders to create sustainable pipelines
Manage hiring events, assessments, selection, offers, engagement, and joining conversion, using programme metrics to improve outcomes
Stakeholder Management, Analytics & Leadership Reporting
Build trusted, consultative partnerships with hiring managers, business and technology leaders, HR, and finance to translate workforce priorities into actionable hiring plans and align role scope, skills, timelines, and selection criteria
Drive structured stakeholder governance through demand and pipeline reviews, interview and feedback follow-ups, offer and joining reviews, timely decisions, and escalation of hiring risks or bottlenecks
Influence and advise hiring managers using talent-market intelligence, sourcing insights, compensation inputs, and recruitment data to set realistic expectations and improve hiring outcomes
Develop recruitment dashboards and executive-ready leadership updates covering progress, hiring metrics, forecasts, risks, dependencies, decisions required, and corrective actions
Qualifications & Experience
MBA in Human Resources or an equivalent postgraduate HR qualification is mandatory; relevant talent acquisition certification will be preferred
15–17 years of progressive talent acquisition experience, with substantial experience in technology recruitment
Minimum 5+ years of experience in a lead or managerial role handling technology hiring teams and end-to-end recruitment delivery
Demonstrated experience in high-volume and niche technology hiring, campus and off-campus recruitment, RPO and vendor management, consultant governance, recruitment dashboards, and leadership reporting; GCC experience will be an advantage
Strong analytical, communication, influencing, negotiation, stakeholder management, and problem-solving skills
Ability to work effectively with business and technology leaders, manage multiple hiring priorities, and deliver results in a dynamic, high-growth environment
