Logistics Manager - AI Data Center Construction, Commissioning and Operations Readiness

Position Summary
We are seeking an experienced Logistics Manager to lead construction logistics, heavy-equipment delivery, material flow, storage, preservation and logistics transition to operations for the Odisha AI Data Center. Construction execution and readiness for safe handover are the first responsibilities. Following formal system acceptance, the role will support or assume steady-state operations responsibilities where applicable.
Key Responsibilities
Construction Logistics Planning
Develop and maintain site logistics plans covering gates, routes, traffic flow, delivery slots, laydown, warehousing and internal movement.
Align logistics plans with the master schedule, short-term look-aheads and contractor workfront requirements.
Plan for phased buildings, shared infrastructure and future campus expansion.
Coordinate temporary roads, hardstands, crane positions, access restrictions and restoration.
Long-Lead and OFCI Equipment
Coordinate delivery of transformers, generators, UPS systems, batteries, switchgear, busways, CDUs, cooling equipment and other critical assets.
Confirm route surveys, permits, escorts, unloading resources, lifting plans, foundations and storage readiness.
Track equipment from dispatch through receipt, inspection, preservation, installation and turnover.
Maintain custody, condition, damage and shortage records.
Material and Site Control
Manage delivery booking, vehicle entry, unloading, inspection, storage and issue to workfronts.
Coordinate secure, clean and weather-appropriate storage for sensitive equipment.
Monitor packaging, preservation, environmental requirements and periodic inspections.
Coordinate with Security, EHS, QA/QC, Procurement, CSA and MEP teams.
Handover and Operational Logistics
Support phased removal of construction logistics and establishment of permanent access routes.
Establish operational delivery, spare-parts, consumables, warehouse and waste-movement processes.
Transfer inventory, storage records, critical spares and vendor contacts to Operations.
Close logistics constraints and restore temporary-use areas before final handover.
Required Qualifications
Bachelor's degree or diploma in a relevant engineering, safety, security, logistics or technical discipline.
5-7 years of overall professional experience.
3-5 years of directly relevant experience in Construction Logistics.
Demonstrated experience supporting construction execution, testing, commissioning, handover and transition to operations.
Mandatory Experience and Skills
Construction logistics and heavy-equipment delivery coordination.
Laydown, storage, preservation, traffic and lifting management.
OFCI equipment receipt, inspection and custody tracking.
Vendor coordination and schedule-control capability.
Strong Excel and logistics tracking skills.
Preferred Experience
Data center, industrial, airport or infrastructure project logistics.
Heavy lift and abnormal-load delivery experience.
ERP, warehouse or material-management system exposure.
Imported equipment and customs coordination awareness.
Technical Competencies
Strong practical knowledge of Logistics systems and associated construction interfaces.
Ability to read applicable drawings, schedules, procedures, test records and handover documentation.
Working knowledge of project controls, quality, safety, change and interface management.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office and relevant technical or operational software.
Soft Skills and Behavioral Competencies
Strong ownership, accountability and professional integrity.
Clear written and verbal communication with contractors, OEMs, consultants and stakeholders.
Practical problem-solving and timely escalation of risks.
Disciplined documentation, follow-up and closure.
