Role Description
The International Business Development Executive is a full-time, on-site role based in Nandesari/Vadodara.
This position is responsible for identifying and developing new international markets, managing relationships with overseas distributors and partners, and driving export sales for Ocean Agro’s product portfolio.
Day-to-day tasks include conducting market research, generating and qualifying leads, preparing proposals and presentations, and coordinating with internal teams to ensure timely delivery and compliance with international trade requirements.
The role also involves participating in international trade fairs, maintaining accurate sales and pipeline reports, and supporting strategic planning for market entry and expansion.
The executive will collaborate closely with marketing and product teams to adapt offerings and messaging to diverse global markets.
Qualifications
Strong skills in International Business Development and International Business, with experience in expanding markets and managing cross-border partnerships.
Proficiency in Market Research and Lead Generation to identify opportunities, assess competition, and build a robust international sales pipeline.
Excellent Communication skills, including clear written and verbal communication, negotiation, and relationship management across cultures.
Experience in agribusiness, agrochemicals, or related sectors, with understanding of sustainable agriculture and eco-friendly inputs.
Bachelor’s degree in Business, International Trade, Agriculture, or a related field; a relevant postgraduate qualification is an advantage.
Ability to work independently, meet sales targets, and travel internationally as required.
Strong analytical, planning, and presentation skills, with proficiency in MS Office and basic CRM tools.
Comfort working in an on-site environment in Vadodara and collaborating with cross-functional teams.
