About the Role
We are looking for a detail-oriented and analytical MIS Executive to manage reporting, data
analysis, and information management activities. The candidate will be responsible for preparing
regular MIS reports, maintaining accurate data, analyzing business information, and supporting
management with timely and reliable reports for decision-making.
The ideal candidate should have strong MS Excel skills, hands-on experience with ERP systems,
and preferably an Accounts/Finance background.
Key Responsibilities
• Prepare and maintain daily, weekly, and monthly MIS reports as per business requirements.
• Collect, consolidate, and analyze data from different departments and sources.
• Prepare accurate reports using MS Excel, Pivot Tables, VLOOKUP, and HLOOKUP.
• Maintain and update various operational, financial, and performance-related reports.
• Extract and validate data from ERP systems for reporting purposes.
• Monitor data accuracy and identify discrepancies or inconsistencies in reports.
• Coordinate with Accounts, Finance, Operations, and other departments for data collection and verification.
• Prepare management reports and dashboards to support business decision-making.
• Maintain proper records of reports and ensure data is organized and easily accessible.
• Track key operational and financial data and highlight important variances to management.
• Assist in preparing periodic performance reports and analysis.
• Ensure all MIS reports are prepared and submitted within the required timelines.
• Support the Accounts/Finance team with data analysis and reconciliation-related reports.
• Maintain confidentiality and accuracy of business and financial information.
• Identify opportunities to improve reporting processes and reduce manual reporting work.
• Perform any additional MIS and reporting activities assigned by the management.
Required Skills & Experience
• 2–4 years of experience in MIS, reporting, data analysis, or a similar role.
• Strong hands-on knowledge of MS Excel and MS Office.
• Good knowledge of Pivot Tables, VLOOKUP, and HLOOKUP.
• Experience working with ERP systems is required.
• Candidates with an Accounts/Finance background will be preferred.
• Strong numerical and analytical skills with attention to detail.
• Ability to handle large volumes of data accurately.
• Good understanding of data validation, reconciliation, and report preparation.
• Good communication and coordination skills.
• Ability to work independently and meet reporting deadlines.
• Strong organizational and problem-solving skills.
Educational Qualification
• B.Com / MBA from a recognized university.
• Candidates with a background in Commerce, Finance, Accounts, or Business
Administration are preferred.
