We are hiring an experienced SAP BODS (Data Services) Consultant (3 to 5 years) for an On-site position in Jamshedpur (Power & Utilities Domain).

What you will be working on:
- Designing, developing, and executing end-to-end ETL data flows and workflows using SAP BusinessObjects Data Services (BODS).
- Leading data migration, profiling, extraction, transformation, and loading activities from legacy databases into SAP systems.
- Supporting utilities-specific data objects, master data migration (Customer, Device/Meter, Billing, Asset data), and transactional reconciliations.
- Building custom scripts, transforms (Query, Table Comparison, Map Operation, History Preserving), and validation rules in BODS Designer.
- Monitoring, scheduling, and troubleshooting automated batch jobs via BODS Management Console.
- Performing data quality assessments, error handling, and exception logging for complex datasets.
- Writing and tuning complex SQL queries, stored procedures, and handling database performance optimization.
- Collaborating closely with on-site functional consultants, business users, and technical teams to ensure seamless cutover execution.
What we are looking for:
- 3 to 5 years of hands-on experience in SAP BODS (BusinessObjects Data Services) ETL design and implementation.
- Proven experience supporting data migration or integration projects involving SAP systems (SAP S/4HANA or ECC / IS-Utilities).
- Strong proficiency in BODS architecture, repository management, Central Object Library, and Data Services Management Console.
- Solid relational database expertise and strong SQL skills (Oracle, SQL Server, or SAP HANA).
- Familiarity with IDoc, BAPI, RFC interfaces, or flat-file data exchange mechanisms.
- Domain exposure to Utilities (Power, Water, or Industrial Infrastructure) or manufacturing operations is an added advantage.
- Strong debugging, analytical thinking, documentation, and on-site stakeholder coordination skills.
