Senior Manager- Monitoring & Evaluation (Public Health)

Role Overview:
Lead – Monitoring & Evaluation will lead the design and implementation of robust monitoring, evaluation, and impact assessment frameworks . The role is pivotal for developing evidence-based insights, ensuring data quality, and translating findings into actionable recommendations to advance the Centre's public health advocacy and thought leadership.
Key Responsibilities:
• Lead the conceptualization and execution of Monitoring & Evaluation of all activities.
• Develop Impact Assessment and Programmatic Evaluation mechanisms, processes, tools etc.
• Design and implement M&E plans for periodic programmatic reports and project completion.
• Identify the requirements for collecting baseline data, prepare terms of reference, project indicators, support survey/s, as required, and monitor progress.
• Ensure the quality and validity of data collected through rigorous data quality assurance measures, including audits and verification exercises as necessary.
• Lead data collection and analysis across all interventions related to Health Systems Strengthening, Community Health, and Workplace Wellness.
• Document periodic results, generate insights on key activities and outcomes, and prepare analytical reports, dashboards, and impact summaries for internal and external stakeholders including partners, Industry and Government.
• Work closely with the Head and Technical Lead to ensure that M&E strategies and outcomes align with the Centre’s strategic priorities and objectives.
• Foster a systems-based approach to monitoring and documentation of Project outcomes, lessons learned, success stories, and best practices emerging from the activities under the Centre for Health to strengthen institutional learning and knowledge management.
• Provide strategic advice on enhancing programmatic effectiveness, impact measurement, and evidence-based decision-making.
Qualifications
• A master’s degree/Post Graduation qualification in Monitoring and Evaluation, Public Health, Statistics, Social Sciences, Development Studies, Economics, or a related field.
• Strong background in developing and managing logical frameworks, results-based management systems, and data collection methodologies for public health projects.
• Demonstrated Experience in designing and implementing M&E frameworks, and systems for complex projects or multi-stakeholder programs, particularly for Public Health Programmes.
• Familiarity/understanding of Indian Healthcare / public Health facilities/PHCs/CHCs, their functions and operations across different departments etc governance structures, public administration & government functioning and business environment is required.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, Excel is required.
• Fluent written and spoken English is necessary. Excellent communication skills - formal writing ability, speaking, and client relations are required.
