Architect Job DescriptionRole Description
We are seeking a creative, detail-oriented, and technically proficient Architect to develop innovative architectural designs that balance functionality, aesthetics, sustainability, and structural requirements. The role involves translating project objectives into practical design concepts, preparing architectural plans, and ensuring that proposed solutions align with client expectations, building standards, and applicable regulations.
The Architect will develop conceptual designs, floor plans, elevations, sections, construction drawings, and three-dimensional visualizations. Responsibilities include evaluating site conditions, selecting suitable materials, coordinating spatial layouts, reviewing design specifications, and preparing architectural documentation for project development. The role also involves presenting design proposals, incorporating feedback, resolving design-related challenges, and ensuring consistency between architectural concepts and technical requirements.
The position requires collaboration with clients, structural engineers, mechanical and electrical engineers, interior designers, contractors, and other project stakeholders. The Architect will participate in design coordination, review technical documentation, support construction planning, and help identify opportunities to improve building functionality, energy efficiency, and environmental performance. The role also emphasizes design accuracy, regulatory compliance, effective communication, and the delivery of high-quality architectural solutions throughout the project lifecycle.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in Architecture, Architectural Design, or a related field.
Strong understanding of architectural design principles, spatial planning, building systems, construction methods, and material selection.
Proficiency in architectural design software such as AutoCAD, Revit, SketchUp, Archicad, or comparable tools.
Ability to prepare floor plans, elevations, sections, construction details, and three-dimensional presentations.
Knowledge of building codes, construction standards, technical specifications, and relevant regulatory requirements.
Understanding of sustainable design principles, building materials, environmental considerations, and energy-efficient solutions.
Strong visual design, creativity, analytical thinking, and problem-solving abilities.
Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to explain design concepts and coordinate with multidisciplinary teams.
Strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and the ability to manage multiple design tasks effectively.
