Diffusion Equipment Engineer

We are looking for an experienced Diffusion Equipment Engineer to support the installation, hook-up, qualification, and maintenance of diffusion and thermal processing equipment in a 300 mm semiconductor fab. The role involves hands-on equipment engineering, coordination with equipment vendors, management of equipment data, and support for pumps and abatement systems.
Role & Responsibilities:
Coordinate and support the installation, hook-up, and qualification of diffusion and thermal processing equipment in a 300 mm fab, including managing T1–T3 qualification stages and ensuring equipment readiness.
Troubleshoot diffusion equipment and support processes such as boron diffusion, reflow, alloying, and curing, where applicable, while coordinating preventive and corrective maintenance (PM/CM) activities and supporting pumps and abatement systems.
Maintain equipment data and ensure accurate documentation of equipment installation, qualification, maintenance, and related activities.
Coordinate with external equipment vendors and internal facilities, engineering, and maintenance teams to resolve technical issues, manage installation activities, and ensure project timelines are met.
Train local maintenance technicians in preventive and corrective maintenance procedures, provide technical guidance, and facilitate knowledge transfer to strengthen local equipment maintenance capabilities.
Mandatory Skills:
Minimum 5 years of semiconductor industry experience.
Hands-on experience with 300 mm semiconductor equipment.
Experience with diffusion furnaces or related thermal processing equipment.
Knowledge of equipment installation, hook-up, qualification, and maintenance.
Familiarity with pumps, abatement systems, and equipment troubleshooting.
Experience with preventive maintenance (PM) and corrective maintenance (CM).
