Bilingual Medical Caller - Primary Care

We are seeking a warm, Spanish-bilingual Patient Outreach Specialist to support our multi-specialty community health center. The ideal candidate brings a bubbly personality, strong phone presence, and hands-on outbound calling experience to engage patients over the phone, schedule annual primary care physicals, and re-engage no-show patients.
Key Responsibilities
Make high-volume outbound calls to primary care (PCP) patients to schedule annual physicals and routine checkups.
Bring a bubbly, friendly, and uplifting personality to every call, building positive rapport with patients over the phone.
Execute proactive outreach to re-engage no-show patients, confirm upcoming visits, and encourage regular preventative care.
Navigate call management platforms to efficiently handle daily outbound workflows while keeping call quality high.
Accurately schedule appointments, update patient demographics, and document call outcomes directly within the electronic health record system.
Coordinate scheduling across our health center's multiple specialties to ensure comprehensive patient care.
Requirements
Outbound Call Experience: Proven background handling high-volume outbound calls, telemarketing, or patient scheduling outreach.
Personality & Demeanor: Bubbly, warm, energetic, and highly articulate over the phone with great interpersonal skills.
Language Skills: Bilingual in English and Spanish.
Technical Skills: Experience with VOIP phone systems and Electronic Medical Records (EMR) software.
Core Qualities: Meticulous attention to detail, proactive follow-up habits, and reliable attendance.
Please note that this is a full-time contractor position (40 hours per week) with a starting pay rate of $6 per hour depending on skillset and experience. The schedule is Monday through Friday, 8-5pm PST.
