Role Description The Retail Sales Associate is a full-time, on-site role based in the Pune/Pimpri-Chinchwad Area. In this position, you will greet and assist customers, understand their needs, and recommend suitable products to drive sales and ensure a positive shopping experience. You will maintain product displays, stock shelves, monitor inventory levels, and help keep the store clean and organized. The role includes processing sales transactions, handling returns or exchanges, and accurately managing cash or digital payments. You will also respond to customer inquiries, resolve basic issues, and work closely with the store team to meet daily sales and service targets.
Qualifications
Strong Retail Sales and Sales skills, with the ability to meet targets and convert customer interest into purchases.
Solid Product Knowledge and willingness to learn features, benefits, and pricing across the store’s range.
Excellent Communication and Customer Service skills to engage customers, understand their needs, and provide clear, respectful support.
Basic numeracy and comfort with point-of-sale systems, billing, and cash handling.
Ability to stand for extended periods, manage physical tasks such as stocking, and maintain store cleanliness and organization.
Previous experience in retail or customer-facing roles is preferred but not mandatory.
High school diploma or equivalent; additional training in sales or retail operations is an advantage.
Reliable, punctual, and able to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays, as per store requirements.
